Experience with Dochelle
The first indication to the guest of how amazing the wedding is
going to be is the wedding invitation. It’s supposed to give an
idea of the type of wedding you’ll be attending. That is why I
chose the best place for wedding invitations: Dochelle Custom
Creations. Their invitations are unique pieces of art and I just
fell in love with the quality and elegance of their products. My
experience with Dochelle was amazing, from their help in
choosing the right colors to the delivery of the invitations.
The guests were so delighted about the invitations. They said
they have never seen a more beautiful invitation and it
definitely got them excited about the wedding.
Our love story
My husband and I met when we were taking summer classes at Penn
State University. He noticed I was doing well on my homework and
decided to ask me for some help with the class. I, of course,
helped him with some questions he had but it didn’t go further
than that. Fall semester starts and he is in one of my classes
again. This time around we became friends and we started doing
homework together and going out for a coffee from time to time.
During the spring semester we didn’t have any classes in common so
we lost contact. Towards the end of the semester, I realized I
missed talking to him so I emailed him to see how he was doing.
We went out to see a movie and we soon realized we were meant to
be. Ten months after we started dating, Aaron proposed to me.
The proposal
He knew my family was very traditional so he decided to ask my
father for my hand. The thing is that my dad doesn’t speak
English so he practiced the speech for weeks in Spanish. My
parents accepted the marriage. That same day he took me out to
dinner-which we did often, so I didn’t know he was going to
propose. Before dinner we walked around a near by park where he
went down on his knees and asked me if I would marry him. I said
yes, immediately.
I love him and since we started dating, I knew I was going to
marry him. Our engagement lasted two years, since I wanted to
finish my Master’s before the wedding. After having different
options on where to have the wedding, we decided to do it in my
country, Dominican Republic. I already had the man of my dreams
and I wanted my wedding to be just as perfect.
Our wedding day
The wedding day was amazing and everything was just perfect. The
only problem was that it happened too fast! Thankfully I have the
photos to re - live the moment again and again. I have to give
credit to my dad who planned the entire wedding by himself. The
decorations were beautiful and the wedding cake was enormous and
delicious. The guests had so much fun, everyone was dancing merengue - my country’s national dance. It was such a happy and
magical night for everyone involved. My family and friends were
with us during this special time and I couldn’t
have asked for more. |
